What is the DIFFERENCE project?

Digital Infrastructure For improving First Nations matERNal and Child hEalth (DIFFERENCE). Currently the databases for both BiOC (MMEx) and the Mater Mothers' Hospital (Matrix/Verdi) don’t communicate with each other. Sharing of this data and information would improve the way in which BiOC cares for Mob. The aim of the DIFFERENCE project is to create a digital system that connects primary and secondary healthcare information (information sharing between care providers). This will be achieved through:

• Live sharing of data for clinical care;
• Linking de-identified data to better understand and improve the service.
